World Fishing Championships
On Thursday 6th of September our school took part in a parade to welcome the fishing teams from around the world to Lanesboro. Thanks to all who took part in what was a very enjoyable event. Earlier that morning our TYs had a very informative session with Oisin Naughton from Inland Fisheries Ireland. We would like to thank Oisin for his time and commitment and Mr. McElgunn for organizing the trip. As part of the festival, students from our school volunteered to help out at the “Green Zone” recycling area. It was a long hard day but was well worth it.
