The school has once again this year continued it successful run with having four projects accepted into the BT Young Scientist Competition. The successful students and their projects are as follows:

Patrick Kenny, Oran Walton and PJ Connaughton – An investigation into the effect of illicit substance use on student attainment in the Junior Cert.
Orla Lyons – The cure for poor health literacy? An investigation into the readability of public health resources.
Adam Kingi – Smartphones- Can They Affect the Neuroplasticity of Babies and Young Children?
